Bake Sail

Today, FVHS Key Club held a bake sale at Sam’s Club to fundraiser for money to benefit the homeless. With the cash raised, we will be making care packages and donating them to those in need.

This reminded me of a video I saw a while back on YouTube. A man made care packages with food, water, toiletries, and other basic necessities and filmed the reactions of people he gave it to. It was viral with over 10 million views. Although doing good deeds does not need publicity or praise, I feel like when it gets posted online  for other people to see, it inspires other people to do the same.

And THIS thought reminded me of another viral trend going on: pass it on. When someone does something nice for you, it is then your turn to pass it on to someone else, who then passes it on and so forth.

As this post is titled, “Bake Sail,” i feel as though love and compassion represent the boat and good deeds and kindness are what blows the sails around the world.
